The Greek Mythology Link is a collection of myths retold by Carlos Parada, author of Genealogical Guide to Greek Mythology, published in 1993 (available at Amazon). The GML contains Texts, Images, Charts and Maps. The mythical accounts are based exclusively on ancient sources.

The material contained within the thousands of pages belonging to the Greek Mythology Link web site is copyright. In addition, contributions by other authors (under the heading Signed Articles) have their own copyright, which is stated by an appended copyright notice in each particular case.

The contents of the Greek Mythology Link (Texts, Images, Charts and Maps) are intended for personal use and may not be distributed or reproduced in any form. In order to reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, modify, distribute or publicly perform or display material from the Greek Mythology Link, you must first obtain permission.

Downloads and replication are free and allowed for personal use. But no distribution, either commercial or non-commercial, is allowed.

A number of Downloads and PDF files are available. Purchasing a license will enable you to freely use the material in your classroom and course activities.

There are three licenses:

1. Personal license (Price as stated in each case in the site)
2. Teacher license (Price = Personal license x 2)
3. College license (Price = Personal license x 3)

Basic rules: By college any educational institution is understood; by teacher any educator in any level. A personal user is restricted to himself. For pedagogical purposes, a teacher may make the material available in any form to his/her classroom for any number of courses. A college may, for educational purposes, make the material available to all students in that college in any form and for indefinite time. Teachers or colleges do not lease the material. They buy it and may use it for as long as they will in any number of computers within their classroom or college respectively. However, neither the teacher nor the college may charge the students for providing the material. Republishing, reshaping, or transferring the rights to other colleges or teachers is not allowed.

Carlos Parada is author of Genealogical Guide to Greek Mythology, and former lecturer at the Department of Classics, Lund University (Sweden). Most of his work in recent years has been dedicated to the creation and improvement of the Greek Mythology Link, an Internet site with free access devoted to the Greek myths and related subjects.
